over faulty plumbing in his cabin, he sensitively deals with Ed's uncle Anku, a proud but ill medicine man who is reluctant to embrace modern
medicine. |
Synopsis
(1): |
Joel's futile effort to handle his cabin's plumbing problems on his own provide
a great source of amusement for Maggie. Meanwhile, at Ed's request, Joel attempts
to treat his Uncle Anku's (guest star Frank
Sotonoma Salsedo) deteriorating health with little success. Averse to modern
medicine, the Indian elder tests Joel's schooled, medical expertise. At KBHR,
the storefront radio station, anger and unrest develops among the townsfolk
when Maurice fires deejay Chris-in-the-morning (John Corbett) and takes over the station controls
himself -- playing nonstop show tunes. |
